According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain in Punjab, Haryana, Western UP, Delhi-NCR and North Rajasthan on January 23 and along with this there will be dense fog in UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal, Odisha. There is a possibility of rain in about 7 states including Delhi on Thursday. Cold may return again due to cloudy sky and rain. The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain on Wednesday night and Thursday. There is also a possibility of mist or light fog in the evening and night.

-There will be light to moderate rain in Western Uttar Pradesh on January 23 and the sky will be cloudy. There is a possibility of dense fog in many areas on January 25.

-The weather remains normal in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh also. It is cold in the morning and night and the feeling of cold is reduced due to sunshine during the day. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be rain at some places in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand and cold may return.

-The cold wave is currently continuing in many areas of Rajasthan. There will be fog at some places on Thursday and there is also a possibility of rain along with it.

-In Haryana and Punjab, people have got relief from cold due to sunshine during the day but cold is felt in the morning and night. Chandigarh’s minimum temperature was recorded at 8.9 degrees Celsius. The night remained cold in Faridkot and Gurdaspur of Punjab. The minimum temperature here was 5.2 and the maximum temperature was 6.5 degrees Celsius.

-Jammu and Kashmir hilly areas received fresh snowfall during the night but the minimum temperature in the valley has recorded a rise. The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain or snowfall in the next few days.
