According to Manish Tolani, Vice President and Commercial Director of Hilton South Asia, “In 2024, 48% online searches related to Solo Experience to India were done by women, which was 36% in 2021. The special thing is that now women are taking travel decisions from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.”
Changing way of spending
Statistics related to hospitality showed that the wellness stay booked by women gained 28% in a year, while this growth was 37% in cases of adventure-line activities. Along with this, their average daily expenditure has also increased, which shows that they now want to use their money and time.
“Now the purpose is not just taking leave, but to see what the experience contributes to his mental and physical health,” says Tolani.

Kiran Sonawane says, “It is not a traditional luxury, but women decide to use their time and money to give them mental relaxation or health benefits.”
Women usually prioritize places where nature is supported, guided programs and security is confident.
