Yesterday, I also went to the Dargah of ‘Hazrat Nizamuddin’ in Delhi and offered ‘Chadar’ there too.

What did Kiren Rijiju say?

During this, Kiren Rijiju said, “On this auspicious occasion of Urs, we pray for a peaceful environment in the country. Unity in diversity is the foundation of our culture and people from all communities come here to seek the blessings of ‘Garib Nawaz’. ” In his address, the Minister also addressed the logistics challenges faced by lakhs of pilgrims visiting the Dargah during the Urs. “Lakhs of people visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah every year and we are working towards making their visit easier. New initiatives are being launched to ensure a better experience for the devotees,” he said.
