ICC Women U19 World Cup 2025: Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025 is being organized on Malaysian soil, where fans are getting to see exciting matches every day. A total of 16 teams are participating in the tournament, which have been divided into groups of four each. After this, the top-3 teams from each group will qualify for the Super-Six round and one team from each group will be eliminated. Now Pakistan women’s team has faced defeat by 13 runs in its last group stage match against Ireland by Duckworth-Lewis rule. With this, the Pakistani women’s team is out of the Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025 and its dream of winning the title has been shattered.
Batsmen performed poorly
Batting first, Ireland women’s team scored 69 runs in 9 overs. Alice Walls made the maximum contribution of 31 runs for the team. Due to rain, Pakistan women’s team got the target of 73 runs as per Duckworth-Lewis rule. But no batsman could perform well for the Pakistani women’s team and the entire team could score only 59 runs in 9 overs. Captain Komal Khan played the maximum innings of 12 runs for Pakistan. Due to poor performance of bowlers and batsmen, it had to lose the match.

Pakistani women’s team got a place in Group-B for the Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025. It played three matches in this tournament, out of which the team was not successful in winning even a single one. For this reason she stood last in her group. She had only one point in three matches and due to this she was out of the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025.
Could not win even a single match in the tournament
Pakistani team’s first match against America could not be played due to rain. Then both the teams got one point each. After this, they had to face a crushing defeat against England by 6 wickets and now Ireland sealed their exit by defeating them by 13 runs. On the other hand, from Group B, the teams of America, Ireland and England will qualify for the Super-Six round.
