Bhubaneswar: A heartbreaking accident has emerged in the IRC Village area of the city today. Here a 13 -year -old child fell directly from the roof to the grill. In this accident, the grill got stuck in the child’s body. The child has been identified as Sohan Digal, who hails from Kandhamal district. The incident occurred when he went to get his school dress drying on the roof. While removing the clothes, he lost his balance and fell down. Unfortunately, he got trapped badly in a downward iron grill at the bottom.
Grill cut out
According to the information received, as soon as he fell from the top and got stuck in the grill, Sohan shouted, after hearing this, the nearby people ran. Incidentally, the team of Secretariat Fire Station at that time was already present in the area. These people were taking stock of the damage caused by thunderstorms in the morning. As soon as he heard the screams of the child, he also reached the spot immediately. The team of the fire brigade cut the grill with a cutter machine without losing time and took out Sohan with great care.
ICU undergoing treatment
After the accident, Sohan was immediately admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar in a hurry. Sohan is being treated here. Doctors say that Sohan’s condition remains critical. He is kept in the ICU and is undergoing treatment. Regarding the condition of the child, AIIMS has said that after the child’s operation, it has been shifted to the pediatric surgery ICU and the condition of the child is now stable. At the same time, Sohan’s family is in deep shock due to this accident. Everyone is praying for his well -being.
