A scene of Gabbar Singh’s cruelty was also removed from the film, which is now going viral on social media. An Instagram account named ‘Old is Gold’ has recently shared a picture of one such deleted scene of Sholay. In the photo, Gabbar, played by Amjad Khan, can be seen brutally pulling Sachin Pilgaonkar’s character, Ahmed, by the hair. Along with Gabbar Singh, he has a whole convoy of dacoits.

49 years ago, the Censor Board had removed this scene showing the cruelty of Gabbar Singh, because according to those days, it was a very cruel scene.
