In Thailand’s capital Bangkok, thousands of people on Saturday demonstrated strongly demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Pitgtarn Shinwatra. The protest took place amid border dispute with Cambodia.
In May, there was a clash over a disputed border area between Thailand and Cambodia. After this, PM Shinavatra criticized the Army General Bonsin Padklang on the phone call. The audio of this phone call was leaked, after which the PM also apologized.
According to the report of Bangkok Post, anti -government protesters have vowed to intensify their opposition to demand Shinwatra’s resignation. The protesters took the oath after their rally at the Vijay Memorial on Saturday.
