Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has strengthened its strategic investment plan in the UK, announcing that they will create 5,000 new jobs across the country over the next three years. Along with this, the company has launched an Artificial Intelligence (AI) experience zone and design studio in London, which will promote innovation and customer collaboration.

TCS, which has been leading the UK’s digital transformation for the last 50 years, currently supports approximately 42,000 direct and indirect jobs in the UK. The company is expected to contribute £3.3 billion to the UK economy in fiscal year 2024. The new AI Experience Zone and London Design Studio, a modernized version of the company’s flagship Pace Port centres, aims to accelerate innovation and foster collaboration with clients in the UK.

Vinay Singhvi, UK and Ireland head of TCS, said the UK is the second largest market for the company and this AI experience will help them remain at the forefront of new technologies by collaborating with sector businesses. This studio is the second design center after the New York studio that TCS has recently set up.

UK Investment Minister Jason Stockwood visited TCS’s Mumbai campus and praised its technological innovations and said that the Tata Group has an important contribution to the business relationship between the UK and India. He also said that this investment reflects their commitment to job creation, economic growth and prosperity in both the countries.

This move by TCS will not only contribute to employment generation, but will also play an important role in developing digital skills in Britain and creating a competitive edge in the field of artificial intelligence, thereby further strengthening the economic ties between the two countries.
