According to the website of Passport Seva, while applying for immediate passport, you will have to submit any three of the documents given below:
- Aadhar card or e-edge
- Voter ID
- Service id of government or private company
- Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC)
- Pension related documents (eg pension book)
- PAN card
- Valid driving license

How long does it take to get an immediate passport?
According to the passport service website, when your application form is successfully deposited, its last status appears ‘Granted’. After this you can expect your passport to be sent on the third working day, except the date of submission of the application. Police verification report is not waiting for this.
Who does not get immediate passport?
- People who are children of Indian parents, but are born outside India.
- People who have been given citizenship by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
- If you want to change the name in passports under the immediate scheme.
- Residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
- Children who have been adopted by Indian or foreign parents.
- Children whose parents have separated, but have not divorced.
