Mukesh Khanna-Naseeruddin Shah was a classmate in FTII
Meanwhile, Mukesh Khanna also talked about Naseeruddin Shah. He said that Naseeruddin Shah was his classmate in FTII. Mukesh says- ‘We stayed together for two years. Naseeruddin came from the National School of Drama. Once he told me- ‘Mukesh … What are people doing in Bollywood? Running behind trees, showing birds. ‘ I predicted listening to him- ‘When he comes to the mainstream cinema, he will have a lot of difficulty.’ Later, he worked in the film ‘Hero Hiralal’, where he also had to dance. He is a great actor.
Naseeruddin Shah shaved the beard for the film
Mukesh Khanna claimed during this time that Naseeruddin Shah shared the beard because he feels that his chin is small. But, when it came to the film, he shaved his beard for a film. He said- ‘If anyone else was there, they would not have been performing like Naseeruddin, because they would always be dissatisfied with these roles and would have been against the idea of dancing and singing behind trees.’
Shatrughan Sinha used fake voice
He then spoke about veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha and made a claim about his voice. He said- ‘Shatrughan Sinha has been my very good friend. We have worked together in many projects. I am sorry to tell this, but they have always used fake voice. You must have seen, he talks with a neck. He does not talk to the stomach. ‘Silence’ comes from his neck. ‘ Along with this, he claimed that ‘friend’ is the only film in which Shatrughan Sinha used his real voice.
