Suzuki Motorcycle India launches electric scooter e-Access and two models, know details

Two-wheeler maker Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIL) on Friday launched its first electric scooter E-Access and two other models at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The company also launched its first E-85 fuel-compliant motorcycle, the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel, for the Indian market. According to PTI news, E85, also known as flex fuel, is a mixture of gasoline and ethanol. The company has launched this model while expanding its presence in the Indian two-wheeler market. India Mobility Expo 2025 (Auto Expo 2025) has been inaugurated today.

95km range

Powered by a 3.07 kWh battery made of lithium iron phosphate, the e-Access offers a range of 95 km. SMIL claimed that it offers a top speed of 71 kmph and can be fully charged in 6 hours and 42 minutes using a portable charger and in 2 hours 12 minutes via a fast charger.

GIXXER SF 250 is a very smart fuel two wheeler

The company said that the GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel is a sports bike equipped with a 250 cc BS VI compliant engine, which uses fuel with ethanol concentration up to 85 percent. To accommodate ethanol blended fuel, the GIXXER SF 250 features upgraded components including a modified injector, fuel pump and fuel filter making it compatible with E85 fuel. It is a sports bike designed to take India towards a carbon-neutral society.

New scooter Access launched with 125 cc engine

The company launched an all-new scooter Access with a 125 cc, single cylinder, 4 stroke engine. It is designed with features like LED position light and LED tail lamp. It also has a Bluetooth-enabled multi-functional digital instrument cluster. Based on the theme ‘Spectrum of Mobility’, the Suzuki Motorcycle India Pavilion showcased a series of big bikes like the GSX-8R, V-Storm 800 DE and the iconic Hayabusa. This also includes the GSX-R1000R race machine, which competed in the Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race.

India is the biggest market for the company
