renewable energy Sector-related company Suzlon has received an order from Torrent Power to supply 162 wind turbine generators of 486 MW capacity. However, the company has not given any information about the value of this order. Under this order, Suzlon Group will supply 162 S144 Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) with 3 MW capacity Hybrid Lattice (HLT) towers at Bhogat, Gujarat. Suzlon gave this information in an exchange filing on Friday. According to a company statement, with the new hybrid order of 486 MW, Suzlon Group and Torrent Power Limited have together achieved one gigawatt of wind power generation capacity in India.
Suzlon gets 5th order from Torrent Power
The company said that this is the fifth order received by Suzlon from Torrent Power. Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman, Suzlon Group, said that the 10-year long partnership of both the companies has achieved a major milestone in the form of joint capacity of 1 GW. He said that this partnership is based on trust, innovation and vision of both the companies. Both the companies are jointly using advanced technology so that they can generate quality electricity.

Let us tell you that on Friday once again a decline was seen in the shares of Suzlon. Today the company’s shares closed at Rs 52.56 with a fall of Rs 1.76 (3.24%). The shares of the company, which closed at Rs 54.32 on Thursday, opened with a rise today at the level of Rs 54.99, which was its intraday high. At one point of time today, Suzlon shares had fallen to an intraday low of Rs 52.13. Let us tell you that 52 week high of Suzlon share is Rs 86.04 and 52 week low is Rs 35.49. The current market cap of the company is Rs 71,731.68 crore.
