Sudden announcement of Sri Lanka tour, schedule also came to the fore; Total matches will be played

The Bangladesh cricket team will visit Sri Lanka in June. On this tour, there will be a series of two Tests, three ODIs and three T20 matches between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. 8 international matches will be played between the two teams in a total of three formats. Squad has not been announced by both teams for any series yet.

WTC 2025-27 will be eyeing the best start

The World Test Championship for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will start 2025-27 with a two-Test series. The first Test match will be played from 17 to 21 June in Gaul ground and the second Test match will be played from 25 to 29 June. In such a situation, both teams will focus on winning the Test series. So that they can have a great start in WTC. Sri Lanka’s pitches have always been helpful for spinners. In such a situation, Bangladesh will have to work hard to win.

The three ODI series will start from July 2. This will be followed by the second ODI on 8 July. Both the initial ODI will be played on the Kind of Colombo. The third ODI match will be played on 8 July in Pallekele.

The last match of the tour will be held on 16 July

Bangladesh team recently made Litton Das captain in T20 International. Earlier, this responsibility was with Najmul Hasan Shanto. The T20 series will start from July 10. The second match will be played on 13 July. After this, Bangladesh’s team will play the last match of the tour on 16 July.
