Share market today: The Indian stock market continued to decline for the sixth consecutive day on Wednesday, February 12. The Sensex broke up to 900 points in day trading amidst weak global signals. However, it later saw recovery and finally it closed 122 points. The Nifty also broke 22,800 levels in day trading, but at the end of the trading it closed over 23,000. Due to this, the market value of BSE listed companies decreased by about Rs 1 lakh crore today. Small and medium stocks also continued to sell amid the concern of high valuation. BSE midcap and smallcap injex closed down by about half a percent. During today’s business, realty stocks saw the most strong selling.
At the end of the trading, the BSE Sensex closed at 76,171.08 points, declining 122.52 points or 0.16 per cent. At the same time, the NSE’s 50 -share index, Nifty fell at 23,045.25 levels at 23,045.25.
₹ 1.04 lakh crore drowned by investors
The total market capitalization of listed companies in BSE came down to Rs 407.48 lakh crore on February 12, which was Rs 408.52 lakh crore on its previous trading day i.e. Tuesday, February 11. In this way, the market cap of listed companies in BSE has reduced by about Rs 1.04 lakh crore today. Or in other words, the assets of investors have fallen by about Rs 1.04 lakh crore.

14 out of 30 shares of BSE Sensex closed with an increase in green mark today. This led to the highest rise of 2.64 per cent in the shares of Bajaj Finserv. After this, the shares of Tata Steel, Larsen and Toubro (L&T), Ultratech Cement and Kotak Mahindra Bank (Koatak Mah Bank) closed with 1.35 per cent to 1.65 per cent.

At the same time, the remaining 16 shares of the Sensex closed down today. In this too, the share of Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) fell by 2.78 per cent to the top losets. At the same time, shares of ITC, Power Grid, Reliance Industries (RIL) and Indusind Bank saw a decline of 1.52 percent to 2.14%.

2,418 shares declined
The number of shares shut down on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today was high. A total of 4,097 shares on the exchange were seen today. Out of this, 1,554 shares closed up rapidly. At the same time, 2,418 shares saw a decline. While 94 shares were closed flat without any fluctuations. Apart from this, 45 shares touched their new 52-vende high during trading today. At the same time, 721 shares touched a new lower level of 52-weeks.
