Stock market started flat in green mark, 262 in Sensex and 16 points in Nifty 50

Share Market Opening 16th April, 2025: On Wednesday, the Indian stock market started a flat in the green mark. Today, the BSE Sensex opened at 76,996.78 points on the second trading day of the week with a gain of 261.89 points. On the other hand, NSE’s Nifty 50 index also started trading at 23,344.10 points with a slight gain of 15.55 points. Let us tell you that there was a rage in the market on Tuesday. Yesterday, the Sensex rose by 1694.80 points to 76,852.06 points and the Nifty 50 was opened up to 23,368.35 points with a stormy up by 539.80 points.

Infosys shares fall drastically

On Wednesday, only 9 out of 30 Sensex’s shares opened in the green mark, while the shares of all 21 companies opened with a decline in the red mark. On the other hand, shares of 17 out of 50 of Nifty 50 started trade in green mark with rapidly. Whereas the share of 32 companies opened with a decline in the red mark and a company shares opened without any change. Today, HDFC Bank’s shares included the highest 0.71 per cent gained by the Sensex companies, while Infosys shares opened with the highest decline of 1.99 per cent.

Among the rest of the Sensex companies today, UltraTech Cement shares 0.41 percent, Axis Bank 0.29 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.24 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.20 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.17 percent, IndusInd Bank 0.16 percent, ICICI Bank 0.10 percent and ICICI Bank shares increased by 0.10 percent.

These shares started trading in decline

On the other hand, HCL Tech’s stock today has 1.48 percent, Artnal 1.37 percent, Maruti Suzuki 1.37 percent, Tech Mahindra 1.29 percent, Sun arferma 1.13 percent, NTPC 0.76 percent, Tata Steel 0.66 percent, Nestle India 0.63 percent, Nestle India 0.63 percent, Tata Motors 0.56 percent, Reliance Industry 0.53 percent, TCS 0.48 percent, TCS 0.48 percent, TCS Powergrid was traded with 0.44 percent, Adani ports 0.40 percent, Asian Paints 0.29 percent, State Bank of India 0.28 percent, ITC 0.27 percent, Titan 0.24 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.17 percent, Bajaj Finance 0.08 percent and Hindustan Unilever declined by 0.01 percent.
