Share Market Closing 31st January, 2025: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the country’s budget for FY 2025-26 on 1 February. The Finance Minister presented an Economic Survey of FY 2024-25 in Parliament today before presenting the budget. During this time the Indian stock market gained momentum and stopped the business with a great lead. On the last day of the month, the stock market opened with a big increase. On Friday, the BSE Sensex closed at 77,500.57 points with a gain of 740.76 points (0.97%). Whereas, NSE’s Nifty 50 also closed at 23,508.40 points with 258.90 points (1.11%). Larsen & Toubro shares rose by over 4 percent
On Friday, 24 out of 30 companies of the Sensex closed with an increase in the green mark, while the remaining 6 companies closed with a decline in the red mark. Similarly, shares of 44 out of 50 of Nifty 50 also closed in green mark in green mark and the remaining 6 companies closed in red mark. Today, Larsen & Toubro, one of the Sensex companies, closed the highest 4.37 percent gain while ITC Hotels shares closed down by 2.98 percent.

Other companies included in the Sensex today shares of Nestle India 4.25 percent, IndusInd Bank 3.66 percent, Titan 3.59 percent, Tata Motors 2.73 percent, Tata Steel 2.67 percent, ITC 2.51 percent, Maruti Suzuki 2.49 percent, Hindustan Unilever 2.48 percent, Powergrid 2.29 percent , Asian Paints 2.23 percent, Adani Ports 2.06 percent, Zomato 1.46 percent, State Bank of India 1.43 percent, Infosys 1.21 percent, Ultratech Cement 0.97 percent, Reliance Industries 0.90 percent, Sunapharma 0.88 percent, Tech Mahindra 0.81 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.72 percent, HCL Tech closed up 0.60 percent, HDFC Bank 0.42 percent, NTPC 0.36 percent and TCS shares closed with a gain of 0.18 percent.

Bharti Airtel’s shares recorded a decline of 0.76 %, Bajaj Finserv 0.43 %, Bajaj Finance 0.17 %, ICICI Bank 0.14 % and Kotak Mahindra Bank shares declined by 0.06 %.
