Share Market Opening 5th February, 2025: The Indian stock market started trading in green mark with an edge on Wednesday. Today the BSE Sensex rose by 120.79 points to 78,704.60 points. On the other hand, NSE’s Nifty 50 index also opened at 23,801.75 points with a gain of 62.50 points. Let us tell you that the stock market closed with a brilliant rapid rise on Tuesday. Yesterday, the Sensex closed at 78,583.81 points with a rise of 13970.07 points and the Nifty rose by 378.2 points to close at 23,739.25 points.

Asian Paints shares broken in early trade

At 9.18 am on Tuesday, 17 out of 30 companies of Sensex were trading in green mark with an increase, while the remaining 13 companies were in red mark with losses. Similarly, the shares of 27 out of 50 of Nifty 50 were trading in green mark rapidly and the shares of the remaining 23 companies were trading in red mark. By the time the news was written, IndusInd Bank’s shares were the highest gaining 1.62 percent of the Sensex companies, while Asian Paints shares were trading the most with the highest 4.26 percent decline.
