Share Market Closing 23rd May, 2025: On Friday, the Indian stock market shut down the business with a good increase. On the last day of the week, the BSE Sensex rose 769.09 points (0.95%) to close at 81,721.08 points. Similarly, NSE’s Nifty 50 also closed at 24,853.15 points with a gain of 243.45 points (0.99%). Let us tell you that on Thursday, the BSE Sensex fell by 644.64 points to 80,951.99 points and the Nifty closed at 24,609.70 points with a loss of 203.75 points.
29 out of 30 companies of Sensex closed in green mark
On Friday, 28 out of 30 companies of Sensex closed in green mark and the remaining 2 companies closed in red mark with losses. On the other hand, today the shares of 46 out of 50 of Nifty 50 closed in green mark and the remaining 4 companies closed with a decline in red mark. Today, Eater’s shares, who were among the Sensex companies, closed the highest 3.51 percent gains, while Sunforma’s shares closed with a decline of 1.84 percent.
Powergrid, ITC shares also fast
On the last day of the week, Powergrid shares included in the Sensex, 2.51%, ITC 2.32%, Bajaj Finserv 2.09%, Nestle India 1.83%, Axis Bank 1.74%, Kotak Mahindra Bank 1.50%, Adani Ports 1.45%, Larsen & Toubro 1.39%, Tata Steel 1.18%, Hindustan Unhirever 1.18%. Industries 1.16%, Bajaj Finance 1.14%, Titan 0.98%, Infosys 0.98%, IndusInd Bank 0.95%, NTPC 0.94%, HCL Tech 0.92%, TCS 0.88%, Tech Mahindra 0.84%, Asian Paints shares closed with an increase of 0.79%.
Along with this, today HDFC Bank shares closed with 0.61%, SBI 0.59%, Ultratech Cement 0.54%, ICICI Bank 0.51%, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.28%, Maruti Suzuki 0.22%and Tata Motors shares closed down 0.06%. While Bharti Airtel’s shares closed down 0.19 percent.
