The Indian stock market closed down the second consecutive day on February 19. The Sensex closed down 28 points. The Nifty closed at 22,932. However, small and medium shares were huge rise. The BSE midcap index closed with a gain of 1.30 per cent and the Smallcap index 2.41 per cent. Due to this, the assets of the stock market investors increased by about Rs 3.35 lakh crore today.
