Share market today: The Indian stock markets closed in green mark on Monday 17 February with a slight increase. With this, the process of decline in the stock market for the last 8 days came to an end today. The Sensex closed 57 points. At the same time, the Nifty maintained the level of 22,900. Due to this, the assets of the stock market investors increased by about Rs 20,000 crore today. However, there was a mixed trend in the broad market. The BSE’s midcap index closed up 0.51 per cent. At the same time, the smallcap index declined by 0.56 percent. At the same time, consumer durable, metal and oil and gas stocks in the sectoral index saw a good rise. On the other hand there was an atmosphere of selling in IT, telecom and capital goods shares.

At the end of trading, the BSE Sensex rose by 57.65 points or 0.076 per cent to close at 75,996.86 points. At the same time, the NSE’s 50 -share index, Nifty rose 37.25 points or 0.16 per cent to close at 22,966.50.

Investors earned ₹ 20,000 crore

The total market capitalization of listed companies in BSE increased to Rs 400.39 lakh crore on February 17, which was Rs 400.19 lakh crore on its previous trading day i.e. Friday 14 February. In this way, the market cap of listed companies in BSE has increased by about Rs 20,000 crore today. Or in other words, the assets of investors have increased by about Rs 20,000 crore.

20 out of 30 shares of BSE Sensex closed with an increase in green mark today. This led to the highest growth of 2.83 per cent in the shares of Bajaj Finserv. After this, shares of Power Grid, Indusind Bank, Adani Ports and UltraTech Cement closed with a gain of 1.81 per cent to 2.33 per cent.

At the same time, the remaining 10 shares of the Sensex closed down today. In this too, the share of Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) fell by 3.75 per cent to the top losets. At the same time, shares of Bharti Airtel, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys (Infosys) and ICICI Bank (ICICI Bank) saw a decline of 0.57 percent to 2.42%.

The number of shares shut down on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today was high. A total of 4,219 shares on the exchange were seen today. Out of this, 1,336 shares closed up rapidly. At the same time, 2,738 shares saw a decline. While 145 shares were closed flat without any fluctuations. Apart from this, 69 shares today touched their new 52-whee high during trading. At the same time, 907 shares touched their 52-week new level.
