The 61st match of IPL 2025 will be played between Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad at Lucknow Home Ground Ekana Cricket Stadium. A big news is coming out of SRH’s camp before this match. The team’s batsman Travis Head has been coroned, due to which he is finding it difficult to play in this match. This was revealed by Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Daniel Vettori.
Head could not return to India due to Corona
In a press conference before the match against LSG, Hyderabad head coach Daniel Vettori said that Travis Head will reach India on the morning of 19 May. After this, his health will be checked up by the team’s medical staff. Vetori told that Travis is coming tomorrow morning. He was delayed in arrival. Actually he was coroned. So he could not travel to India. So they will come tomorrow morning and after that we will assess how their situation is and whether he is fit to play in this match.
Because of this, Travis Head went back to Australia
Let us tell you that IPL was stopped for 10 days due to increasing military tension between India and Pakistan. Because of this, many foreign players returned to their country, one of which was Travis Head. Later, when the date of the resumption of IPL came to light, some foreign players started returning to India. But due to Corona, the head could not return. Now it will have to be seen how long they are fully fit to play the match.
SRH is out of the playoff race
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s team has already been out of the playoff race. His performance has been very poor this season. The team has played 11 matches so far, out of which they have won only 3 matches and have lost in 7. In the last season, SRH’s team managed to reach the finals, but this time they failed to repeat that performance.
