This is the 75th anniversary of the Indian Republic. This year the Constitution It’s been 75 years since its implementation. I salute all the great personalities of the Constituent Assembly who gave us our sacred Constitution. There were long discussions on many subjects. Those discussions and words of the members of the Constituent Assembly are our great heritage. Today, in Mann Ki Baat, I try to narrate to you the original voices of some great leaders. When the Constituent Assembly started its work, Baba Saheb Ambedkar expressed mutual cooperation. Baba Saheb was emphasizing that the Constituent Assembly should work together with one voice and for the benefit of all. During this, PM Modi narrated audio clips of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, Dr. Rajendra Prasad and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
PM spoke about the Election Commission
PM Modi said, “January 25 is National Voters’ Day. This day is important because on this day the ‘Election Commission of India’ was established. I would also like to thank the Election Commission, which has modernized our voting process from time to time and strengthened the power of technology.
