Smriti Mandhana ICC ODI Batting Rankings: ICC has released the new ODI ranking of women batsmen. India’s opening batsman Smriti Mandhana had performed brilliantly in the three-match series against Ireland. Which has benefited him in ICC rankings. Mandhana is the only Indian included in the top-10 of the ICC women’s ODI rankings for batsmen. Mandhana is known for her excellent batting and she is the player who has scored the most centuries for India in ODI cricket.
Smriti Mandhana reached second position
Smriti Mandhana has improved one place to second position in the ODI rankings for women batsmen. He played useful innings of 41 and 73 runs in the first two matches before scoring 135 runs in the third ODI against Ireland and single-handedly led the team to victory. This 28 year old player has 738 rating points in his name. South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt (773 rating points) is at the top in the ranking. Sri Lanka’s veteran player Chamari Atapattu (733 rating points) is in third place.
Harmpreet Kaur suffered loss
Jemimah Rodriguez, who scored her first century in the second ODI against Ireland, has improved two places to 17th position. He currently has 562 rating points. Whereas the regular captain of the Indian team, Harmanpreet Kaur, who was out of the series due to injury, is at 15th position. He has 604 rating points. He has lost one place. For India, only three players are included in the top-20 in the ODI rankings for women batsmen. These include Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodriguez and Harmanpreet Kaur.
Deepti Sharma is at sixth place in the ranking of all-rounders.
Deepti Sharma is ranked sixth in the list of all-rounders players with 344 rating points. Australia’s Ashley Gardner has reached the top position by replacing South African legend Marijne Kapp. Gardner had also scored 146 runs along with taking four wickets in the ODI matches of the Ashes series. Gardner is 25 rating points ahead of Cap with a career-best 469 rating points. After her inning of 102 runs against England in Hobart, she also managed to break into the top 10 in the list of batsmen with a career-best 648 rating points.
