Share market today: Sensex and Nifty made a spectacular comeback on Tuesday 28 January due to a boom in banking and financial shares. The Sensex closed up 535 points. The Nifty reached 23,000. However, the decline in small and medium shares continued even today. BSE’s midcap index fell 0.61 per cent and the Smallcap index fell by 1.77 per cent. Due to this, the assets of the stock market investors drowned about Rs 1.16 lakh crore today. Apart from banking and financial, today realty and auto stocks also saw a good rise. However, on the other hand there was an atmosphere of selling in pharma, industrials, utility, capital goods and power shares.

At the end of the trading, the BSE Sensex rose by 535.23 points or 0.71 per cent to close at 75,901.41 points. At the same time, NSE’s 50 -share index, Nifty closed at 22,957.25 with a gain of 128.10 points or 0.56 per cent.

₹ 1.16 lakh crore of investors drowned

The total market capitalization of listed companies in BSE declined to Rs 409.15 lakh crore on January 28 today, which was Rs 410.31 lakh crore on its previous trading day i.e. Monday 27 January. In this way, the market cap of listed companies in BSE has reduced by about Rs 1.16 lakh crore today. Or in other words, the assets of investors have fallen by about Rs 1.16 lakh crore.

19 out of 30 of BSE Sensex closed with an increase in green mark today. In this, the shares of Bajaj Finance were the fastest of 4.39 per cent. After this, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Bank and Tata Motors closed with a gain of 2.15 per cent to 3.82 per cent.

The number of shares shut down on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today was high. A total of 4,084 shares on the exchange were seen today. Out of this, 1,311 shares closed up rapidly. At the same time, 2,663 shares saw a decline. While 110 shares were closed flat without any fluctuations. Apart from this, 60 shares touched their new 52-vende high during trading today. At the same time, 569 shares touched a new lower level of 52-weeks.
