Christmas After the holiday, the Indian stock market opened with gains on Thursday. Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex opened today at 78,557.28 points. In early trade it was seen trading at 78,816 with a gain of 0.44 percent or 344 points. In early trading, out of 30 Sensex shares, 28 shares were on the green mark and 2 shares were on the red mark. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty was seen trading at 23,816 today with a gain of 0.37 percent or 88.95 points. Out of 50 shares of Nifty pack, 42 shares were on green mark and 8 shares were on red mark.
There was a rise in these shares
Among the Nifty pack shares, the biggest rise was seen in Maruti by 1.11 per cent, BPCL by 1.10 per cent, SBI by 1 per cent, Axis Bank by 1 per cent and ICICI Bank by 0.94 per cent. At the same time, the biggest decline was seen in Asian Paint by 0.49 percent, Cipla by 0.32 percent, Trent by 0.24 percent, Dr. Reddy’s by 0.23 percent and TCS by 0.14 percent.
Situation of sectoral indices
Talking about sectoral indices, today the highest rise was seen in Nifty PSU Bank by 1.42 percent. Apart from this, 0.09 percent rise was seen in Nifty Metal, 0.71 percent rise in Nifty Private Bank, 0.51 percent rise in Nifty Oil & Gas. Apart from this, 0.10 percent in Nifty Midsmall IT & Telecom, 0.03 percent in Nifty Consumer Durables, 0.22 percent in Nifty Healthcare Index, 0.59 percent in Nifty Realty, 0.34 percent in Nifty Pharma, 0.65 percent in Nifty Media, 0.04 percent in Nifty IT, 0.16 percent in FMCG A decline was seen.
