Share Market: Share market made a strong comeback, Sensex jumped 170 points, investors earned ₹ 6.57 lakh crore – share market today investors wealth soars rs 6 57 lakh crore as sensex nifty rebounds after 4-day crash

Share Market Today: The stock market made a spectacular comeback on Tuesday 14 January. Sensex closed 170 points higher. Whereas Nifty increased to beyond 23,200. With this, the trend of decline in the market that had been going on for the last 4 days came to an end. There was a great rise in the broad market also. BSE Midcap index jumped 2.13 percent. Whereas smallcap indices closed with a gain of 1.69 percent. Due to this, the wealth of stock market investors increased by about Rs 6.57 lakh crore today. During today’s trading, the biggest rise was seen in banking, metal and energy stocks. On the other hand, the selling trend continued in IT and FMCGs stocks.

At the end of trading, BSE Sensex closed at 76,499.63, up 169.62 points or 0.22 per cent. Whereas NSE’s 50-share index, Nifty closed at 23,207.60 with a gain of 121.65 points or 0.53 per cent.

Investors earned ₹6.57 lakh crore

The total market capitalization of companies listed on BSE increased to Rs 423.62 lakh crore today on January 14, which was Rs 417.05 lakh crore on its previous trading day i.e. Monday, January 13. In this way, the market cap of companies listed in BSE has increased by about Rs 6.57 lakh crore today. Or in other words, the wealth of investors has increased by about Rs 6.57 lakh crore.

These 5 Sensex stocks had the highest rise

Only 19 out of 30 BSE Sensex stocks closed in the green today i.e. with gains. In this, Adani Ports shares had the highest rise of 5.18 percent. After this, shares of NTPC, Tata Steel, Zomato and Tata Motors closed with a gain of 2.64 percent to 4.22 percent.

These 5 Sensex stocks fell the most

The remaining 11 Sensex stocks closed with losses today. In this too, HCL Tech shares were the top losers with a decline of 8.63 percent. Whereas shares of Hindustan Unilever (HUL), Titan, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Ultratech Cement saw a fall of 1.25 per cent to 3.48 per cent.

2,869 shares declined

The number of shares closing with gains on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today was high. A total of 4,073 shares were traded on the exchange today. Out of these, 2,869 shares closed with gains. A decline was seen in 1,097 shares. While 107 shares closed flat without any fluctuations. Apart from this, 80 shares touched their new 52-week high during trading today. Whereas 221 shares touched their new 52-week low.
