The BSE midcap injex closed down 1.60 per cent and the smallcap index of 2.23 per cent. Except for FMCG, all the sectoral index of BSE also closed in red mark.

At the end of trading, the BSE Sensex fell 329.92 points or 0.43 per cent to close at 76,190.46 points. At the same time, NSE’s 50 -share index, Nifty fell at 23,092.20 levels of 113.15 points or 0.49 per cent. The Sensex and Nifty declined by 0.5 per cent from this entire business week, ie 20 to 24 January. At the same time, the midcap index lost 2 percent and the smallcap index 4 percent during this period.

₹ 5.02 lakh crore of investors drowned

The total market capitalization of listed companies in BSE declined to Rs 419.61 lakh crore on January 24, which was Rs 424.63 lakh crore on its previous trading day i.e. Thursday 23 January. In this way, the market cap of listed companies in BSE has reduced by about 5.02 lakh crore rupees today. Or in other words, the assets of investors have fallen by about Rs 5.02 lakh crore.

10 out of 30 shares of BSE Sensex closed with an increase in green mark today. This led to the fastest of 1.98 per cent in the shares of Hindustan Unilever (HUL). After this, the shares of Tech Mahindra, Nestle India, Bharti Airtel and ICICI Bank closed with a gain of 0.58 per cent to 0.75 per cent.

The number of shares shut down on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today was high. A total of 4,059 shares on the exchange were seen today. Out of this, 1,038 shares closed up rapidly. At the same time, 162 shares touched a new lower level of 52-weeks.
