Sbi outage: State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest public sector bank, faced technical problems on Wednesday, July 2. Many of his major digital services were affected by this. According to Downdetector, more than 400 customers complained of stagnation of services such as Yono, UPI, RTGS, NEFT, INB and IMPS around 1:00 pm.
How long will the service be restored?
Amidst this comprehensive outage, SBI issued a statement on the social media platform X saying that all services will be completely restored by 2:30 pm today. The bank has advised the use of UPI light and ATM services currently regretting inconvenience from customers.
This technical disturbance has come at a time when people’s dependence on digital transactions and mobile banking is continuously increasing. According to banking experts, IT capacity of public institutions needs continuous investment so that such disruption can be avoided.
