The biggest upgrade so far can be seen in Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. The South Korean company is going to upgrade in the battery of its premium smartphone. This has been claimed in a new report. Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S25 series globally only last month. In this series, the company has changed the process as well as the processor. Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone can be introduced in January next year.
The biggest upgrade in battery so far
Chinese companies have started using silicone-corbon batteries in their premium and mid budget phones. Many brands have launched their phone with new technology batteries instead of lithium-ion. The same silicon-carbon battery can be used in Samsung’s upcoming premium phone. This battery is lighter than lithium-ion and takes less space. On social media platforms X, a tipster named Pandaflash has claimed that Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will be launched next year with the largest 7,000mAh or 6,000mAh battery.
Tipster has claimed on X that according to the Samsung Test Lab, this phone will come with a 5,396mAh battery. This battery can be used for prototype models. In commercial production, its battery capacity can be 6,000mAh. The silicon-carbon battery will be lighter as well as 10% better energy efficient against the current lithium-ion. In such a situation, users can get a long battery back-up. Samsung will introduce Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra in the Galaxy S26 series in January next year. Under-display camera will be used
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has been shared by another detail tipster, according to which the model can come with the under-display camera (UDC). Samsung currently uses under-display camera in the Galaxy Z fold smartphone. The recently launched Galaxy S25 Ultra has a 50MP telephoto camera, which supports OIS i.e. optical image stabilization feature with 5X optical zoom. Apart from this, it also has a 10MP telephoto camera, which supports 3x optical zoom.
