The death penalty was demanded

The Delhi Police had said in its argument that a particular community was targeted in it. This riots shook the consciousness of the society. On 1 November 84, two Sikhs Jaswant Singh and his son Tarundeep Singh were brutally burnt to death in Delhi’s Saraswati Vihar area.

The FIR related to this incident was lodged at Saraswati Vihar police station in North Delhi. The complainants were recorded on the basis of the affidavit given before the Ranganath Mishra Commission.
