He improved the previous record of Swapna Burman’s 1.83 meter National Games in 2022. Pooja’s private best performance is 1.85 meters which is also the National Under-20 record.

Gobika’s (1.79 m) of Tamil Nadu won Silver while Abhinya Shetty (1.77m) of Karnataka won the bronze medal. Berwal won the Gold Medal of the Men 5000 meter race with 13 minutes 45.93 seconds. He improved the records of the 13 -minute 50.05 second National Games of the Army’s G Lakshmanan in 2015. This is Berwal’s record of second gold and second national Games in the current sports. He also won the men’s 10,000 meter competition on Saturday with a record time of 28 minutes 49.93 seconds. Gagan Singh of Haryana won the silver medal with 14 minutes 00.04 seconds while Sunil Davar of Madhya Pradesh won the bronze medal from a time of 14 minutes 01.33 seconds.
