There has been a fierce blast at a petrol station and gas depot in Rome, the capital of Italy. 21 people have been injured in the accident. After the blast, a large ball of fire appeared in the sky.
The blast took place around 8 am local time. After the blast, debris was shattered 300 meters from the scene.
According to the UK Mirror report, there have been two blasts one after the other. There was a smell of gas before the first explosion. After this there was a second blast and a large ball of fire was covered in the sky.
People have been evacuated from homes after the blast. Apart from this, all drivers have also been removed.
Prime Minister Georgia Meloni has spoken to the mayor of Rome. There was a school near the site of the incident. 15 children have been evacuated after the accident.
