Ricky Rai, son of former underworld don
Ramnagar: Ricky Roy, son of former underworld don Don Muthappa Rai, was attacked late last night in Ramnagar district of Karnataka. The attack took place on Friday night at 12.30 pm when Ricky Roy came out of his car from his farm house in Biddi towards Bangalore. Ricky’s driver and a private gun man were present in the car at the time of the attack.
Ricky’s condition critical
According to the information, as soon as Ricky got out of the farm house. The attackers sitting ambushed behind a compound wall fired two rounds of Ricky’s car, out of which one bullet hit Ricky sitting on the back seat. Ricky’s condition is said to be critical. He has been admitted to the hospital.
Ricky returned from abroad two days ago
According to the information received so far, Ricky returned from abroad two days ago. He stays abroad most of the time. In such a situation, the police suspect that those who carried out a deadly attack on him were constantly monitoring Ricky’s movement.
Ricky works as real estate
Police also said that Ricky’s father, like Muthappa Roy, Ricky has no direct link to the underworld but was working as a real estate on a big scale. The FSL team reached the spot and gathered the clues. The police have started searching for the attackers by forming a special team.

Karnataka Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar told the news agency ANI that the police officer concerned has been instructed to give further information. At present, Ricky Rai has not suffered any serious injury and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bangalore. The reason behind the gun attack is not yet known. Police is investigating.
