Know what is Mera Ration 2.0 app
Government of India has launched Mera Ration 2.0 app. With this, ration card holders can get ration even without a card. Earlier, to get ration, people had to take their ration card to the depot. Now through this app people can take ration online by entering their Aadhar card number.
How to use the app?
This app can be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple App Store. After downloading, users will have to login with OTP by entering their Aadhar card number. Once logged in, the ration card will open on the app, by showing which people can take ration.
These people do not get ration
Some important rules for making ration card have been made by the government. If a person has more than 100 square meters of land. In which there is a plot, flat and house, then they cannot apply for ration card. Whereas someone has a 4 wheeler (car and tractor), they also cannot apply for ration card. Also, people who have a refrigerator installed in their house or an AC installed in their house, they also cannot get a ration card made. Along with this, if someone in the family is doing a government job, then he also cannot get a ration card made.
Income should be less than Rs 2 lakh for ration card
To get a ration card made, the family income in the village should be less than Rs 2 lakh. Whereas in cities the annual income should not be more than Rs 3 lakh. Anyone who pays income tax cannot get a ration card. Along with this, if anyone has a licensed weapon then he is also ineligible for ration card.
