A local court in Faridabad, Haryana has sentenced a man to 20 years of imprisonment for raping his minor niece and impregnating her. Police gave information about the incident on Monday. Regarding this incident, the police said that the court of Additional Sessions Judge Hemraj Mittal has also imposed a fine of Rs 65 thousand on the guilty person. Let us tell you that this incident happened in October 2019, when the class 8 student was alone at her home. Advocate Ravindra Kumar Gupta said that when the incident occurred, the victim’s mother had gone to her maternal home, her brother had gone to school and the father had gone to work.
20 years imprisonment to uncle who raped his niece
The advocate said that when the girl returned home from school, her uncle, who lived near her house, entered the house and raped the victim. He also threatened the victim that if she told anyone about the incident, he would kill her family. According to the advocate, in February 2020, the victim complained of stomach ache. When her mother took her to the hospital, it was found out that the girl was pregnant. After this he narrated his ordeal to his family members. After this the family contacted the police. The advocate said that after this a case has been registered against the accused and he has been arrested.
Court sentenced
He told that a total of 24 people testified in this case. On the basis of this, the court has sentenced the culprit to 20 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 65 thousand. Meanwhile, a 24-year-old youth named Anil died after being burnt in his car in Ghazipur area of East Delhi. Police gave information on Sunday and have started investigation in this matter. The incident happened on Saturday night. Police received information about the incident through three separate PCR calls. When the police reached the spot, they saw that the Maruti Wagon R car was on fire and Anil’s burnt body was found inside the car.
