Three big artists of the entertainment industry have received death threats. Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav, comedian singer Sugandha Mishra and dancer-producer Remo D’Souza have received threatening mail from Pakistan. According to information received from Mumbai Police sources, three names associated with the entertainment industry, Remo D’Souza, comedian Sugandha Mishra and Rajpal Yadav, have received threats through emails on different days. Mumbai Police has registered an FIR on the complaint of Rajpal Yadav. Further investigation is going on in this matter.
This threat was given to artists
According to information received from police sources, the person who sent the threat revealed his name as Bishnu. The mail reads, “We are monitoring your activity and want to put it in your knowledge that this is not a publicity stunt. It was written in the mail that we are sending you this threat keeping complete confidentiality and seriousness in mind. We can also influence your personal life.
Answer sought within 8 hours
It is further written in the mail that we remind you that if you do not take any appropriate step within the next 8 hours, we will have to take some action. Sources claimed that the emailer had written ‘BISHNU’ at the end of the email. The mail reads, “Failure to do so can have dangerous consequences which can impact your professional and personal life. We expect a prompt response from you within the next 8 hours. If we do not receive a response, we will assume you are not taking the matter seriously and will take appropriate action. Vishnu.”
All three artists received this threat at different times, after which, based on the complaint of artist Rajpal Yadav, the police have registered a case under section 351 (3) of BNS.
