Q3 Results: The quarterly results of 6 companies of Nifty-50 are coming on 6 February 2025 on Dalal Street today. These include Bharti Airtel, Britannia Industries, Hero MotoCorp, ITC, State Bank of India (SBI) and Tata Group company Trent Limited. Due to this, shares of these companies remain in focus today. Investors will also have a special eye on the results of these companies, as their performance can affect the Nifty and the Sector-Specific Index.
ITC Limited will release its December quarter results on Thursday 6 February. This stock budget has been in the headlines since 2025 as the government did not make any changes in tax on tobacco products. Apart from this, the company has also separated its hotel business since January 2025, which can affect its financial performance. The lump sum cost related to the disorganization may affect the company’s total profits.
Compared to analysts, the possible growth of various business segments of ITC in the December quarter may remain.
Cigarette Volume Growth: 3-4%
FMCG Revenue Growth: 5-7%
Hotel Revenue Growth: 12-15%
Agri Revenue Growth: 15-20%
Paper Business Growth: 2-3%
Hero Motocorp
According to a pole by our colleague CNBC-TV18, Hero MotoCorp is likely to increase net profit in the December quarter and revenue 4%. The company’s margin is also expected to remain almost flat. Sales volumes have been normal on an annual basis, but on a quarterly basis it saw a decline of 4%. The average price increase is likely to increase 4% on an annual model.
Britania Industries
According to the poll between analysts, Britannia’s domestic volume is expected to grow 4–5% during the December quarter, but value growth is expected to be between 0.5% to 1%. The gross margin may see a decline of 2 per cent. The commentary of the management will be on raw material prices fluctuations, urban demands, and expansion plans in the new category.
Bharti Airtel (Bharti Airtel)
According to the poll between analysts, Bharti Airtel’s revenue in rupee is likely to increase by 7.1%, while net profits may increase by 34.1%. Indus towers have now become a completely completely subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, as Vodafone has sold its stake in it. During this quarter, the 42 -day performance of Indus towers will join Bharti Airtel. The impact of the tariff hike in July 2024 will be positive on the company’s ARPU (average revenue per user).
Trent
Stock Trent Limited, the worst performance of Nifty in January 2025, will also release its results this evening. According to the poll between analysts, revenue is expected to increase 35% and net profit by 40% on an annual basis. However, given a sharp growth rate in history, a slight decline in growth may be seen in this quarter. Weak consumers can create pressure on the sentiments and high base effect stock.
Overall, analysts expect a strong quarter for Bharti Airtel and ITC. At the same time, margin of Britannia and Trent may come under pressure. While the growth of Hero MotoCorp is expected to be limited.
