A case has been registered against a policeman who assaulted a disabled person traveling from Mannargudi, Tamil Nadu to Chennai. Actually, the disabled person, resident of Thenkovanur area of Thiruvarur district in Tamil Nadu, was traveling from Mannargudi to Chennai. Meanwhile, in Koradacheri area, 3 people asked to open the gate of the coach. After this, when the train reached Thiruvarur railway station, the three people knocked on the compartment again, then an elderly person present in the compartment opened the door. When the door was opened, one of the three people came straight to the disabled person and, introducing himself as an RPF jawan, asked why he did not open the door. When the disabled person said that he had no legs, the policeman insulted the person.

Police investigation has revealed that the person who attacked the disabled person is Palani, a head constable working at Needamangalam police station. Let us tell you that earlier on Friday, a case of stone pelting on Vande Bharat train has come to light. Actually, stones were pelted at Vande Bharat train by an unknown person in Solapur.
