Every year 23 January is celebrated as Parakram Diwas on the occasion of the birth anniversary of India’s great freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on the occasion of Bravery Day on Thursday. PM Modi said that we are working towards building the India that Netaji had imagined. Let us tell you that in the year 2021, the Central Government had announced to celebrate 23 January, the birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, as Valor Day.
PM Modi paid floral tribute
PM Modi said on Thursday that the ideals of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and his unwavering dedication towards India’s independence continue to inspire us. PM Modi also paid floral tributes to the portrait of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the Central Hall of the Constitution House (old Parliament House). During this, along with PM Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and many other Union Ministers and MPs were present.
PM Modi’s conversation with students
School students were also invited on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the Central Hall of the Constitution House. During this period, PM Modi also interacted with him and asked questions related to Netaji. PM Modi has shared the video of his interaction with students on social media.
Let us unite for developed India- PM Modi
PM Modi also addressed the Valor Day celebrations at Barabati Fort in Cuttack, Odisha through video conference. In his address, PM Modi has appealed to the countrymen to unite for a developed India on the lines of Azad Hind Fauj.
