Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to five countries from July 2 to July 10. PM Modi will visit three of these five countries Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago and Namibia for the first time.
This visit will begin with Ghana. After this, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina and Brazil will go. Modi will reach Namibia after participating in the BRICS Summit in Brazil.
India will help in creating a vaccine hub on PM’s Ghana Yatra so that the health structure there can be strengthened. Ghana is currently struggling with economic crisis and is improving under the terms of IMF.
PM Modi will also address Ghana’s Parliament and about 15,000 Indian people there. There is a trade of about 24 thousand crores between the two countries. India has so far invested about 16 thousand crores in Ghana.

Indian PM will go to Trinidad after 25 years
The Prime Minister will go to Trinidad and Tobago after Ghana. This will also be the first visit of the Prime Minister and it will be the first bilateral visit of an Indian Prime Minister after 1999. After this, Prime Minister will go to Argentina and will meet the President Xavier Miley.
In Brazil, the Prime Minister will attend the BRICS summit from July 5 to 8. This summit is important for India as it talks about mutual cooperation and global issues of developing countries. Prime Minister Modi will go to Namibia in the final phase of the journey.
PM Modi will go to Namibia for the first time
This will be the first visit of the Prime Minister in Namibia and after 27 years an Indian Prime Minister is visiting there. During this time, Prime Minister Namibia President Netumbo will meet Nandi-Nadaitwa and address Parliament.
In Namibia, the Prime Minister will pursue the agreement to implement India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI), which will increase the cooperation of the two countries in the field of digital payment. Namibia is a country rich in minerals, so the trade and investment of important minerals between the two countries will also be discussed.

On 17 September 2022, Narendra Modi left eight cheetahs brought from Namibia in Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh in a special enclosure from Quarrantin enclosure. These leopards were brought to India under project cheetah.
The purpose of seizures strengthen political and economic relations
The purpose of this entire tour aims to strengthen political, economic and technical relations with these countries of India, so that India’s global South Policy can increase cooperation with African and Latin American countries.
The Ministry of External Affairs said that the Prime Minister’s visit would further strengthen the bilateral partnership as well as take the relations between India and Africa to a new height.
