Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that he cannot accept that raw materials should be exported and finished products should be sent to the country. He insisted that the Value Edition should be here. According to PTI news, Modi said this while inaugurating ‘Utkarsh Odisha, Make in Odisha Conclave’ at the Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar. The PM said that he considers eastern India as the development engine of the country and the state has an important role in it.
Changing the entire eco system
According to the news, Modi said that the development of the country is not possible only by exporting raw materials. So we are changing the entire eco system and working with new vision. Minerals are extracted from here and exported to another country, where value additions are made and new products are made. These finished products are again sent back to India. This trend is not acceptable to Modi. The aspirations of crores of people are pushing India forward on the path of development.

The Prime Minister said that today India is moving forward on the path of development, inspired by the aspirations of crores of people. This is the era of AI and everyone is talking about AI. However, India’s aspiration, not only AI, is the power of our country. Aspiration increases when the needs of the people are met. In the last decade, the country has seen the benefit of empowering crores of people. Odisha also represents this aspiration. The PM said that Odisha is excellent and represents the originality and optimism of new India. There are opportunities in Odisha and the people of Odisha have demonstrated a sense of better performance.
India contributed significantly to global development
Modi said that the 21st century is about connected infrastructure and multi-model connectivity. India is constructing special infrastructure on unprecedented speed and scale. It will make India a great destination for investment. The PM said that ASEAN countries have shown interest in strengthening trade relations with Odisha. He said that I consider Eastern India to be the development engine of the country, in which Odisha has an important role. History is witness that when India contributed significantly to global development, Eastern India also contributed significantly. I am confident that Odisha will soon touch the heights of development, which no one would have imagined. The Prime Minister said that research and innovation are needed.
