New Delhi: PM Modi has inaugurated the Rural India Festival. On this occasion, he said that he has been serving the people of the village since 2014. Let us tell you that the theme of this festival is to create an inclusive rural India for a developed India 2047 and its objective is to appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit and cultural heritage of rural India. PM Modi inaugurated the festival at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

PM Modi wished everyone a happy year 2025. He said that this grand event of Rural India Mahotsav in the beginning of 2025 is introducing India’s development journey and creating an identity. I congratulate NABARD and other partners for organizing this event.

PM Modi said that clean drinking water is reaching every house in lakhs of villages. Today, people are getting better options for health services in more than 1.5 lakh Ayushman Arogya temples. With the help of digital technology, we have also connected the country’s best doctors and hospitals to the villages. Have taken advantage of telemedicine. Crores of people in rural areas have taken advantage of telemedicine through e Sanjeevani. At the time of Covid, the world was wondering how the villages of India would deal with this epidemic? But we delivered the vaccine to the last person in every village.

PM Modi said that to strengthen the rural economy, it is necessary that economic policies be made keeping in mind every section of the village. We are proud that our government has made policies and taken decisions for every section of the village. Just 2 days ago, the Cabinet has given permission to continue the PM Crop Insurance Scheme for one more year.
