PM Modi has reached Paris on a two-day visit, where he will co-chair the AI Summit.
PM Modi reached Paris, the capital of France on Monday night. He met Indians present at Orli Airport in Paris.
In honor of the Prime Minister, the French government organized the VVIP dinner at the famous Elisy Palace on Monday night. Leaders of some other countries including French President Macron were present in it.
This visit of PM Modi is 2 days. He will join the AI Summit today and will hold bilateral conversations with President Emmanuel Macron. This is PM Modi’s seventh tour of France. The PM last went to attend the French National Day (Bastil Day) program in 2023.

Before leaving for France, the PM said-
On the invitation of President Macron, I will visit France from 10 to 12 February. I am eager to co-head the AI Summit in Paris. I will go on a two -day visit to the US on the invitation of President Donald Trump from France. I am eager to meet President Trump. The experience of working with him in the first term is good.
PM Modi said that he will inaugurate the first Indian consulate in France in the city of Marsile and will visit the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor Project. Along with this, he will pay tribute to the Indian soldiers killed during the first and second world war at the Mazarguse War Samadhi site. PM Modi will leave for America on 12 February. He described his journey as an important opportunity to strengthen Indo-US relations. The PM said that promoting partnership between the two countries on the visit of America would be included in the agenda.

On February 11, PM will co -preside at the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit 2025 at the Grand Palace in Paris with President Macron. The summit was held in Britain in 2023 and South Korea in 2024.
In the summit, the use of AI will be discussed with the responsibility of AI, so that it is useful for the good of the people and its threats are controlled. During this time, there can also be talk on global politics. PM Modi can meet French industrialists.
China and America also at AI Summit US Vice President JD Vance and Chinese Deputy Prime Minister will also attend the AI Action Summit. According to Reuters, the program may also include OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman. Google and Microsoft officials may also attend the program.
This visit of Modi is expected to strengthen the defense relations between the two countries. In fact, during this visit, many important deals can be finalized, including the purchase of 26 Rafale Marine Fighter Jet and 3 Scorpene Class Submarine between India and France during this visit.
