PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana), the government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 to farmers every year. This money is sent directly to the farmers’ accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Rs 2,000 is given in three installments in a year at an interval of every four months. The previous i.e. 18th installment was released in October. According to this, the time of next installment i.e. 19th installment may be in February. Last year the 16th installment was released on 28th February, so this time also it is believed that the 19th installment may come on 28th February. However, no official announcement has been made in this regard yet, but the four-month period is completing in February.
Which farmers will get the benefit of the scheme?
The benefit of this scheme is available only to those farmers who fulfill the conditions mentioned below.
Farmers should not be in government jobs.
Farmers who pay income tax do not get the benefit of the scheme.
Only one member of the family will get the benefit of the scheme.
Farmers who do not complete the e-KYC process will not be able to avail the benefit of the next instalment.
