PM-Kisan 20th Instalment: Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PM-Kisan), eligible farmers get financial assistance of ₹ 6,000 annually. The government sends it to the farmers’ account through direct benefit transfer (DBT) in three installments. Every installment gets 2-2 thousand rupees.

When will the 20th installment of PM farmer come?

The 19th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana was released in February 2025. In this, an amount of about ₹ 22,000 crore was transferred to farmers’ bank accounts. There is a difference of three months between each installment. This means that the next 20th installment can be paid by the end of June. However, it has not yet been officially announced.

E-kyc is necessary

The central government has clarified that it is mandatory for every farmer to complete E-KYC, otherwise installments can be stopped. According to the guidelines released on the official website of the scheme, farmers can do OTP based E-Kyc PMKISAN.Gov.in on the portal. If you do not have online facility, you can go to the nearest CSC center and get biometric KYC.

How to check benefits

  • Go to www.pmkisan.gov.in.
  • Click on the ‘Know Your Status’ option on the right side.
  • Fill the registration number and captcha.
  • The status will appear on the screen as soon as you click on ‘Get Data’.

How to check the name in the beneficiary list?

  • Open the ‘Beneficiary List’ tab on the website.
  • Fill information about state, district, block and village.
  • Click on ‘Get Report’.
  • The complete list will be available on the screen.
  • What are the eligibility conditions of PM farmer?
  • The applicant should be an Indian citizen.
  • He should have arable land.
  • Only small and marginal farmers are eligible.
  • Government or pensioners are not eligible for the scheme.

How to apply to PM farmer?

  • Go to PMkisan.gov.in.
  • Click on the ‘New Farmer Registration’ tab.
  • Fill the Aadhaar number, Captcha and other details.
  • Submit the form and keep its print out safe.
