PM kisan yojana: Crores of farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan). Their wait may end soon. The central government can release the PM Kisan Yojana 20th installment in the third week of June. According to media reports, the amount is expected to be transferred to farmers’ accounts on 20 June 2025. However, the official date has not been announced at the moment.
Help of Rs 6000 every year
Under the PM-Kisan scheme, eligible farmers get financial assistance of Rs 6000 every year in three installments. That is, 2000 rupees are sent directly to their bank accounts every four months. So far the government has released 19 installments. The last installment came in February 2025.
The 20th installment will be available to those farmers who have completed the necessary steps like registration, E-KYC and land verification on time.
E-kyc mandatory
Without e-Kyc, the next installment of PM Kisan Yojana will not be available. This can be completed in two ways:
- Through OTP (on PMKISAN.GOV.IN)
- Through biometric (at near CSC Center)
- Land verification
If you have not done land rights verification, then your installment can be stopped. For this, contact your accountant or agriculture department.
How to check the name in the benefit of benefit
- Go to PMkisan.gov.in
- Click ‘Beneficiary List’
- Choose state, district, block and village
- Click ‘Get Report’
- Find your name in the list
If you have your name in this list, then you will get the benefit of 20th installment of PM Kisan Yojana. If not a name, contact the concerned officer immediately.
Why is the farmer ID and registration update important?
The government is now working on a plan to give a unique farmer ID to every farmer. With this, there will be no need to give documents repeatedly and the benefit of all schemes will be available through the same identity.
So if you have not yet registered or have not updated the documents, then complete this process soon. If you do not do so, your installment can stop.
