PM Kisan 20th Installment Date 2025: Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme, farmers are given financial assistance of ₹ 6,000 every year. This amount is transferred directly to farmers’ bank accounts in three installments. The purpose of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to farmers for work like sowing and irrigation, so that they do not get caught in a debt trap with money at expensive interest in the village.
How long will the 20th installment of PM farmer come?
The government released the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana on 24 February 2025. In this, more than ₹ 22,000 crore was transferred to more than 9.8 crore farmers. It also included 2.41 crore women farmers. Now farmers are waiting for the 20th installment, which will be the second installment of 2025.
Installments under this scheme usually come at intervals of four months- in February, June and October. In such a situation, it is estimated that the 20th installment can be released in June 2025. However, the official announcement has not yet been made by the Central Government.
What is PM-Kisan scheme?
The scheme was launched in February 2019 and so far an amount of Rs 3.46 lakh crore has been given to the farmers in 18 installments. Under this scheme only land-owners get benefit. Money is sent directly through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer), which ends the role of middlemen.
How to register and E-KYC for PM-Kisan?
Farmers can register by visiting PM-Kisan portal or nearest CSC Center. They have to give necessary information like name, date of birth, bank account, IFSC code, Aadhaar number, mobile number. E-KYC is mandatory after registration. This can be done on the portal from OTP or on the mobile app from face authentication.
How to check Beneficiary Status,
- Go to PMkisan.gov.in
- Click on the link ‘Know Your Status’
- Enter your registration number (do not know if you do not know from Aadhaar or mobile)
- Fill the captcha and verify from OTP
- Now you can see your benefits
As soon as the central government announces the date of 20th installment, farmers can check their account status through portal or app. If you have not done E-KYC, then get it done immediately so that there is no delay in payment.
