PM kisan yojana: The Central Government has released the 21st installment of the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme in three states. This time priority has been given to those farmers who have recently been affected by the incidents of floods, landslides and crop damage in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttarakhand. 27 lakh farmers got 21st installment
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan told through video conferencing that more than 27 lakh farmers have been sent directly to more than ₹ 540 crore to bank accounts. It also includes about 2.7 lakh women farmers.
Talking to the farmers, Chauhan said that this installment of ₹ 2,000 will help in buying the essential things of the house, taking seeds and fertilizers, and re -starting farming. He also said that the government will always help farmers in natural disasters and difficult situations. The PM-Kisan scheme was started on 24 February 2019. Since then, the total payment in these three states has been more than ₹ 13,626 crore.

PM gave additional relief package
Earlier this month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the flood affected areas. He announced additional relief packages for Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttarakhand, which has a total amount of ₹ 4,300 crore. This includes special assistance for the deceased and injured families and help under the PM Cares for Children’s Scheme.
When will the rest of the farmers get the 21st installment
Farmers of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttarakhand have been given the 21st installment in advance due to recent disasters. However, the rest of the states will get the next installment of PM-Kisan on time. The government has not yet announced the official date of PM Kisan 21st installment. However, according to media reports, it can be deposited in farmers’ account in October-November 2025.
The 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme was released by PM Narendra Modi on 2 August 2025 from Varanasi. Under this installment, an amount of ₹ 20,500 crore was directly transferred to the accounts of about 9.7 crore farmers across the country.
