PM Kisan 20th Instalment Date: The beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme are going to get 20th installment from the government soon. Under the scheme, the eligible farmers are given a assistance of ₹ 6,000 every year in three equal installments. But, to get the 20th installment, it is necessary to fulfill certain conditions, otherwise your money may be stuck.

When will you get 20th installment?

Installments under PM Kisan scheme are released every four months. The previous i.e. 19th installment was released in February 2025. Accordingly, the 20th installment can be sent to the accounts of the eligible farmers by the end of June.

Why is E-Kyc necessary?

According to the government, E-KYC ensures that the beneficiaries are real farmers and their bank account is link to Aadhaar. With this, subsidy will be able to reach their account directly and avoid any kind of irregularity.

The government has clarified that only those farmers will be paid the 20th installment, whose basis KYC has been successfully completed. Its purpose is to ensure transparency and remove fake beneficiaries.

How to do e-kyc

Farmers can complete their E-KYC through any one of the four methods given below:

  1. OTP based e-kyc: This facility is available on PM Kisan Portal and Mobile App.
  2. Biometric based e-kyc: It is available at Common Service Centers (CSC) and State Services Centers (SSK).
  3. Face authentication based e-kyc: This PM farmer can be done through mobile app, especially it is useful for farmers who do not have fingerprint access.
  4. Offline options: In some districts, assistance centers have also been set up at the concerned agricultural office or panchayat level. Farmers can get E-KYC by going there.

Step-by-step guide to complete E-KYC from OTP

  • step 1: Go to the official portal https://pmkisan.gov.in.
  • Step 2: Click on the ‘E-KYC’ option on the top right.
  • Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar number.
  • Step 4: Submit OTP on the link mobile number link to Aadhaar.
  • Step 5: The E-KYC process will be completed if the OTP verification is successful.

How to E-Kyc through face authentication

  • step 1: Download PM-Kisan Mobile App and Aadhaar Face RD App from Google Play Store.
  • Step 2: PM Kisan apps the app and login by entering your registered mobile number.
  • Step 3: Go to the ‘Beneficiary Status’ section.
  • Step 4: If E-KYC status is showing “no”, click on ‘E-Kyc’.
  • Step 5: Enter the Aadhaar number and consent for face scan.
  • Step 6: E-KYC will be considered complete as soon as the face scan is successful.

Note: The E-KYC position is usually updated on the portal within 24 hours of completion of the process.

Since the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana is going to be released as soon as possible, all the eligible beneficiaries are advised to complete their E-KYC process as soon as possible to get timely payment. Farmers should keep checking their beneficiary status regularly and should not be deprived of the next installment, for this, the process should be completed in advance.
