PM kisan 20th installment: On February 24, the government released the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana to the farmers. After the 19th installment, now farmers are waiting for the 20th installment. If you look at the records of the past years, then this installment should come by June. The government has sent Rs 22,000 crore to the bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under the 19th installment. 2.41 crore women were also among the beneficiaries.
When will 20th installment come
Now farmers are waiting for the announcement of the 20th installment of PM-Kisan, which is usually found three times a year in a interval of four months. In the year 2025, the second installment i.e. PM-Kisan’s 20th installment can be released in June. After this, the third installment is likely to come in October 2025. However, the government will soon announce its date.
What is PM-Kisan scheme?
The PM-Kisan scheme was launched by the central government in February 2019. So that the economic needs of farmers can be met. Under this scheme, farmers are given financial help of Rs 6,000 every year, which is transferred directly to their bank accounts in three equal installments. The objective of this scheme is to help farmers meet seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and other agricultural needs. At the same time, it helps the farmers to protect them from the compulsion to take loans from usurers. So far, the government has distributed more than Rs 3.46 lakh crore in 18 installments under the scheme.
How to take advantage of PM-Kisan scheme?
Farmers who want to take advantage of this scheme, first have to register online on the PM-Kisan portal. He can apply offline through his nearest Common Service Center (CSC) or State Government Nodal Officer.

After this, e-KYC is mandatory for all registers farmers.
OTP-based E-KYC PM-Kisan can be done on the portal.
Farmers can complete the process by visiting the CSC center for biometric E-KYC.
Face authentication feature is also available on the PM-Kisan mobile app, so that farmers can do E-KYC without OTP or fingerprint.
